The Sidney Business Improvement Area Society (Sidney BIA) Bylaws allow for membership based on your status as an “Owner” or “Tenant”, or as an “Associate Member”.

An individual is eligible to activate a voting membership in the SBIA if he or she is an owner, or a representative of a company, that owns taxable Class 6 commercial property “Owner” OR if he or she is an owner, or a representative of a tenant business that has a valid business license and is conducting business “Tenant”, within the Sidney Business Improvement Area. An individual or a company that owns multiple properties, or owns multiple businesses, or owns a property and a business, or a company with multiple owners, may, as a member, have only one vote as a member. Owner and Tenant voting members do not pay a membership fee.

The Sidney BIA’s Bylaws provide for non-voting Associate Membership if you are not an “Owner” or a “Tenant” in the Business Improvement Area, but you are a person (or company/organization) with a demonstrable interest in the Sidney Business Improvement Area.
