      Required Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities
      • Graduate of a recognized school of Nursing
      • Current registration with CLPNBC
      • Previous residential care experience preferred and a genuine interest in working with the elderly and chronically ill is required
      • Demonstrated clinical competence, organizational and interpersonal skills
      • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
      • Leadership skills and ability to facility team building, change and resource management
      • Well-developed analytical, judgment, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities
      • Strong competency with operating computers and health related technology
      • Ability to prioritize and multi task in a fast paces environment
      • Good physical endurance and overall health

      Sidney All Care Residence is looking for a casual RN who is passionate about working with seniors to provide the best possible care in a team-oriented environment.

      If you are a leader who appreciates collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, volunteers and families, you will flourish at Sidney All Care Residence! Under the general direction of the Director of Care or designate, this position is responsible for assessing, coordinating, supervising, administering and evaluating resident care in the assigned area. The RN ensures the development, implementation and ongoing administration of resident care by utilizing the nursing process, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills. This position provides clinical leadership particularly in complex or unpredictable situations and provides supervision to the LPN's and RCA's in the assigned area. The RN ensures resident care is managed with a focus on client satisfaction and clinical excellence. This position coordinates all personnel, supplies and equipment in a fiscally responsible manner to achieve desired results.
