Toys ’n’ Teddy Bears of Christmas Past Exhibit returns to the Sidney Museum by popular demand!
Sidney Museum’s much anticipated Christmas extravaganza returns for the entire month of December at the Sidney Museum. This year’s theme is ‘Toys ’n’ Teddy Bears’.
With a focus on toys from the 1970’s to 1990’s, and including such perennial favourites as early Transformers, Polly Pockets, Board Games, Dinky Toys, Barbie Dolls, accessories and much, much more, the Exhibit should prove a “walk down memory lane’ for adults, and a visual time machine for children to enter their parents’ “world of toys’. As a special treat for the kids among us and in us, there will be Teddy Bears at play throughout the Museum displays!
Since 2008 the Sidney Museum has been proud to present an annual Christmas special display. The focus of this offering is the special relationship between our history, ourselves and our children. This year’s offering opens December 1st 2018.
The Sidney Museum and Archives is located at 2423 Beacon Avenue and 4th Street in historic Sidney, B.C. and occupies the lower level of the Old Post Office. The museum hours of operation are daily, 10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M., except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. Admission is always by donation.
